  • Overview

    The AVP, Lifecycle Marketing will contribute to the data-driven marketing program that guides the Company’s investments in generating high quality leads through Email Marketing.  You will build and optimize lifecycle email marketing programs and campaigns for our SAAS platform with the goal of increasing conversion, retention, upsell, and reducing churn. You’ll rely on your marketing experience, customer empathy, iterative testing obsession, and data-informed decision making to help our customers and leads understand the incredible value and service of PennyMac. Experience in mortgage or similar industry preferred.

    Job Description

    • Develop an overall lifecycle marketing strategy to engage and retain PennyMac customers with relevant, timely, and targeted communications. This includes email, in-app messaging, SMS and other channels.
    • Lead the strategy and implementation for customer lifecycle marketing programs and activities
    • Experiment with new technologies and leverage personalization to create a buyer’s journey that resonates with each customer
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance across all channels to understand the effectiveness of strategies and tactics for improving engagement, conversion, and retention
    • Rigorously evaluate the health of existing campaigns and establish a testing program for continuous optimization
    • Collaborate with channel owners to execute campaigns and to identify and detail business requirements for new capabilities that will amplify the effect of lifecycle marketing efforts
    • Drive the evolution of our lifecycle programs towards automated, trigger-based, dynamically personalized messages
    • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, and pivot to market or company priority changes quickly
    • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

    Ideal Candidate will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree with a focus on business or marketing discipline with at least six years of work experience or Master’s degree with at least three years of work experience
    • Experience implementing and using Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
    • An execution oriented, hands-on marketer with great project management skills
    • Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly consume large amounts of data and draw insights that drive the business forward
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
