Overview

This position will be responsible for driving PennyMac’s executive compensation function:  Oversees and manages the ongoing design, administration, implementation, monitoring and reporting of executive and equity compensation programs and initiatives. Ensuring programs align with the company’s strategy.

Job Description

  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to evaluate current plans and/or design new plans
  • Assess and manage all elements of deferred compensation which include equity-based, deferred cash and other performance plans across all business units
  • Manage the development, implementation, and administration of executive and equity compensation programs, including annual and long-term incentive (LTI) programs
  • Develop communication materials and supporting analysis for presentations to the Compensation Committee and senior executives
  • Oversee administration of Board of Director compensation including quarterly and annual retainers, dividend payments
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to reconcile and confirm stock-based compensation disclosures in Forms 10-K and 10-Q
  • Prepare compensation discussion & analysis (CD&A) and the various compensation tables in the annual proxy statement
  • Maintain executive compensation policies and procedures
  • Maintain awareness of latest trends and regulations regarding executive compensation to ensure program compliance and market competitiveness
  • Manage executive reward solutions by staying up-to-date with local and federal regulations regarding executive compensation and incentives
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • In-depth knowledge about the legal, accounting, and tax implications on executive compensation
  • Deep understanding of plan design concepts and issues
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel; proficient in the rest of the MS Office Suite and general computer use
  • Must be detail-oriented with demonstrated project management capabilities and excellent prioritization skills
  • Planning/Organizing – Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time effectively and develops realistic action plans
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment: ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment 
  • A strong client focus with outstanding judgment, excellent critical thinking, along with strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
